China Three Gorges and the Portugal'sEDP Groups visit Innovix Robotics toexplore the blueprint of "ArtificiaIntelligence + Energy Industry"
2025-01-10 09:54:17

On January 7, Yin Likun, Director of the Innovation Business Development andResearch Center of China Three Gorges Energy Investment Group, along with histeam, visited the headquarters of Innoyix Robotics.accompanied by Mr. AntónioCoutinho, CEO of the Technology and Innovation Division of Portugal's ElectricPower Group (EDP), and a high-level delegation, The Innovix Robotics ChairmanJia Li, and the core executive team warmly welcomed the visitors. The three partiesengaged in in-depth discussions on multiple cooperation opportunities in smartenergy and explored "Artificial Intelligence+ EnergyIndustry" solutions together

Founded in 1976, Portugal's Electric Power Group (EDP) is the largest energycompany in Portugal, the world's fourth-largest wind power operator, the thirdlargest power operator in the lberian Peninsula, and one of Europe's malor electricpower operators. As a comprehensive power company, EDp has a diverse range ofpower generation methods and is actively involved in the power value chain acrossmultiple countries.EDP's operations currently span14 countries and reqions.including Portugal, Spain.,FranceBrazi, and the United States.

Charlie Jia warmly welcomed Yin Likun, António Coutinho, and their delegation. The attendee.provided a detailed introduction to lnnovix Robotics' "Automation Solutions for the EnergyIndustry" and the key principles of "Artificial Intelligence +". The three parties engaged indetailed discussions on the following topics

Artificial Intelligence + PhotovoltaicCleaning Maintenance

To address the cleaning needs in photovoltaic (PV) power generation maintenance,Innovix Robotics has launched the photovoltaic panel cleaning robot, which hasbeen widely adopted in both domestic and international markets. This robotfeatures an efficient cleaning module and an intelligent navigation system, enabling autonomous naviqation, bridge crossing.and self-charging onphotovoltaic panels. lt can perform unmanned cleaning tasks for large-scalephotovoltaic arrays, The dust loss on photovoltaic panels is approximately 10%and cleaning once a month can increase annual power generation by 10%effectively improving photovoltaic power efficiency

The three parties had an in-depth discussion on the technical adiustmentsrequired to adapt the robot to different climate conditions (such as theMediterranean climate in Portugal) and initially planned a cooperation scheme fora pilot project at a photovoltaic power generation base.

Artificial Intelligence + Power Inspection

The intelligence and reliability of power inspection robots were another key topicof discussion during this meeting. Innovix Robotics introduced and demonstratecits drone product desiqned for long-distance power line inspections to ChinaThree Gorges and EDP teams, The inspection drone is equipped with an infraredtemperature measurement system, allowing it to autonomously fly and captureimages of critical parts of the transmission towers and lines. lt can diagnosedamages and overheating anomalies, Additionally, Innovix Robotics showcased itsrobotic dog product for substatiorand distribution room equpment inspectionsThe robot do is equipped with self-developed high-precision image recognitionalgorithms and multi-sensor fusion detection capabilities, enabling intelligentanalysis, processing, and automatic recording of alarm information.

Innoyix Robotics' power inspection solution combines artificial intelligence andmachine vision technoloqies to ach-time,multi-dimensional, andpanoramic coverage of substations and power transmission facilities, This solutionreplaces traditional manual methods for equipment inspection, proactive faultwarning, defect tracking, and on-site safety supervision and management, enabling the power grid to achieve intelligent and refined operation andmaintenance management, The EDP team expressed strong interest in the robot'sintelligent fault identification and real-time data transmission capabilities andproposed a plan for joint deployment in multiple powerscenarios across Portugal.

ArtificialIntelligence + Wind Power Operation andMaintenance

In the field of wind power generation, Innovix Robotics showcased itscomprehensive operation and maintenance automation solutions, including towecleaning, internal bladedefect detection, and non-stop external blade inspectionThe related smart maintenance robotic products integrate core technologies suchas wall-climbing capabilities, sensors, wireless communication, embeddedsystems+,and automatic real-time control. These robots possess high-precisionstructural inspection abilities and autonomous repair functions, enabling them tcperform delicate tasks in high-altitude environments, significantly enhancing theoperation and maintenance efficiency and safety of wind power equipment.Representatives from EDP highly recognized these capabilities and discussed thefeasibility of deploying this technology in the European wind power market.
"Artificial Intelligence + Energy" Collaborative Ecosystem
During the discussions, the three parties further explored the strategic plan forjointly promoting the digital and intelligent upgrading of the power industry.Innovix Robotics, China Three Gorges, and EDP agreed that through joint
technological innovation and multi-site project demonstration collaborations, theycould contribute to the advancement of intelligence in the Energy industry.

This discussion has laid a solid foundation for the collaboration between InnovixRobotics, China Three Gorges ,and EDP Group. in the future, the three parties wilcontinue to deepen their cooperation in multiple scenarios within the "ArtificialIntelligence + Enegy Industry" domain. Upholding the concept of technologicalinnovation, they will work together with international partners to createbenchmark smart power prolects on a qlobal scale.
